- Description: Female QD x Hose Barb Homebrew Camlock
- Advantages: Also called a Cam and Groove QD, they are are well-suited for Brewing due to their low cost and because they are so easy to install and use.
- Installation: The Type C Female Cam Lock Quick Connects have a hose shank and no threads and are installed almost exclusively into Hose Ends.
- Common uses: Athough this fitting comes with a 1/2" Hose Barb, the Internal Diameter (ID) is reduced to about 3/8" due to the wall thickness. This makes it good for lower flow applications as well as for 3/8" Silicone Hose, since you can stetch 3/8" silicone hose over the Type C Barb. For high flow applications we recommend the Big C and the High Flow C.
