Typically, Type A adapters are used with Type D couplers, although, they can be used with a Type B coupler, Type C coupler or a DC (Dust Cap) that is the same size.

• ● The Brass Type A Male Adapter is a Male Cam and Groove x Female NPT Thread.
• Uses:
• ● Used to install a Male Adapter onto a Male Thread.
• ● Used to connect with a Female Coupler of the same size.
• What it connects to:
• ● The adapter portion will connect to a Female Coupler.
• ● The threaded portion will connect to a Male NPT Thread.
• Installation:
• ● Thread the Female NPT portion of the brass pipe fitting onto a Male NPT Threaded.
• ● Then insert the Type A Adapter into a Female Cam Coupler and close the two cam lever arms.
• ● For a quick disconnect, Open the handles and remove the adapter .
