Type D couplers are generally used with the same size Type A adapters, however, Type E and Type F adapters are compatible, as well as the Type DP (Dust Plug).

• ● The Stainless Steel Type D Female Coupler is a Female Cam and Groove x Female NPT Thread.
• Uses:
• ● Used to install a Female Cam Lock onto a Male Thread. 
• ● Used to connect with a Male Adapter of the same size.
• What it connects to:
• ● The coupler portion will connect to a Male Adapter.
• ● The threaded portion will connect to a Male NPT Thread.
• Installation:
• ● Thread the Female NPT portion of the pipe fitting onto a Male NPT Threaded end.
• ● Then slide the Stainless Type D Coupling over a Male Cam Fitting and close the two cam arms.
• ● For a quick disconnect, open the cam lever handles and remove the adapter.
