- Description: Female Cam QD x Wide Hose Barb Homebrew Camlock
- Advantages: These specially designed Cam and Groove QD's, have the Widest Internal Diameter (ID) and are the best choice for High Flow Home Brewing applications.
- Installation: The Big C Female Cam Lock Quick Connects have a hose shank and no threads and are installed almost exclusively into Hose Ends.
- Common uses: The Type Cam Big C is used with 1/2" Silicone Hose. Designed for High Flow it is the widest ID possible for a 1/2" Brew Cams and will need to be finessed into the 1/2" tubing! These Special Stainless Steel Camlocks are actually a Type-B Female Camlock Coupler with No Thread and instead the male thread is machined into a Hose Barb. Before these were made we used to sell a Type D and a 5/8" hosebarb to get the same effect but at a higher cost.
