- Description: Male QD x Female NPT Thread Homebrew Quick Disconnect
- Advantages: These Stainless Steel QD's are easy to use and quick to install. They can quickly connect and disconnect in a matter of seconds.
- Installation: This Male Stainless Quick Connect has a Female NPT threaded end so it will thread onto any 1/2" Male NPT thread. Usually the Male QD portion is installed onto non-movable brewery equipment, since the male QD portion is exposed, it is subject to more wear and tear than the female QD portion if moved around alot!
- Common uses: Widely used to thread onto plate chillers, namely the Wort inlet and outlet ports. They are also great to be used for inlet and outlet of recirculation ports, like Herms coils and similar Brewery hardware. They will couple with the Female QD's mentioned on the previous page.
