Specialty Cam and Groove Fittings are modified couplings designed to connect hose and pipe threads in specialized applications. Camlock Reducer Couplings are either Couplers by Adapters or Jump Size Male Adapters and Female Couplers. These "jump size" are the usual Male Adapters and Female Couplers however the size of the Male Thread, Female Thread or Hose Shank is increased or reduced. This Jump Size between the Cam & Groove and the thread or Hose Shank allows for an increasing or reducing in the line size. Double Male Spool Adapters and Female Spool Couplers are Male Adapters by Male Adapters and Female Couplers by Female Couplers which are often used to connect or Spool two hoses together. These Cam and Groove Spool Adapters are also available in jump-size reducing camlocks.
