Typically, Type D couplers are used with Type A adapters, although, they can be used with a Type E adapter, Type F adapter or a DP (Dust Plug) of the same size.

• ● The Brass Type D Female Coupler is a Female Cam and Groove x Female NPT Thread.
• Uses:
• ● Used to install a Female Coupler into a Male Thread.
• ● Used to connect with a Male Adapter of the same size.
• What it connects to:
• ● The coupler portion will connect to a Male Adapter.
• ● The threaded portion will connect to a Male NPT Thread.
• Installation:
• ● Thread the Female NPT portion of the brass pipe fitting into a Male NPT Thread.
• ● Then insert the Type D Coupler into a Male Cam Adapter and close the two cam lever arms.
• ● For a quick disconnect, open the handles and remove the adapter .
