Type D couplers are normally used with type A adapters but can be used with Type E and F adapters and Type DP (Dust Plug) of identical size.

• Description:
• ● The Type D Female Coupler is a Female Cam and Groove x Male NPT Thread.
• Uses:
• ● Used to install a Female Cam Lock Quick Connect onto a Male Thread. 
• ● Used to connect with a Male Adapter of the same size.
• What it connects to:
• ● The coupler portion will connect to a Male Adapter.
• ● The Threaded portion will connect to a Male NPT Thread.
• Installation:
• ● Thread the Female NPT portion of the pipe fitting onto a Male NPT Threaded end.
• ● Then slide the Type D Coupler over a Male Cam Fitting and close the two cam handles.
• ● Open the cam arm levers and remove the adapter for a quick disconnect.
