Type A Adapters are usually used with Type D couplers, but can also be used with Type B, and Type C couplers, as well as with Type DC (Dust Caps) of the same size.

• Description:
• ● The Type A Male Adapter is a Male Cam and Groove x Female NPT Thread.
• Uses:
• ● Used to install a Male Cam Lock Quick Connect onto a Male Thread. 
• ● Used to connect with a Female Coupler of the same size.
• What it connects to:
• ● The adapter portion will connect to a Female Coupler.
• ● The threaded portion will connect to a Male NPT Thread.
• Installation:
• ● Thread the Female NPT portion of the pipe fitting onto a Male NPT Threaded end.
• ● Then insert the Type A Adapter into a Female Cam Coupler and close the two cam handles.
• ● Open the cam arm levers and remove the adapter for a quick disconnect.
