• What it connects to:

• ● One side of this 4" x 3" Type ER will connect to a 4" Female Camlock.
• ● The other side of this adapter will install into a 3" Diameter Hose.

• How the Adapter Works:

• ● To connect, slide the 4" Male portion into a 4" Female Camlock Adapter and then close the Cam arms.
• ● Slide the Hose Shank portion into a 3" Diameter Hose and fasten with Hose Band Clamps or a Hose Crimp Collar.
• ● To disconnect, open the Cam Handles and remove Adapter.

• Uses:
• ● Used to reduce the size of the Hose Shank of a 4" Type E Male Adapter from 4" down to 3".
• ● Used when increasing or reducing the hose diameter size from 4" to 3".
• ● This Adapter Allows a 4" Female Camlock to connect with a 3" diameter hose.
• What it does:
• ● The camlock portion will connect to a 4" Female Coupler.
• ● The hose shank portion will connect to a 3" diameter hose.
• Also Known as a:
• ● Cam and Groove Type E Jump Size 4" Adapter x 3" Hose Shank.
• ● Type ER Reducer 4" Male Camlock x 3" Hose Shank.
• ● 4" x 3" Type ER Camlock Reducer.
• ● 4" x 3" Reducing Type E.
• Alternate Options:
• ● A Type E with a smaller Hose Shank can also be made using a 4" Type A a 4" x 3" Reducing Bushing and a 3" Hose Barb.
• ● This Type E Reducer can also be formed by using a 4" Type F, a 4" x 3" Bell Reducer, and a 3" Hose Barb.
• ● This part can also be made using a 4" x 3" Type AR and a 3" KC Nipple or 3" Hose Barb.
