• What it connects to:

• ● One side of this 4" x 3" Type FR will connect to a 3" Female Camlock.
• ● The other side of this adapter will thread onto a 3" Female NPT Thread.

• How the Adapter Works:

• ● To connect, slide the 4" Male portion into a 4" Female Camlock Coupler and then close the Cam arms.
• ● To disconnect, open the Cam Handles and remove Adapter.

• ● 4" Male Cam and Groove Adapter x  3" Male NPT Thread.
• Uses:
• ● Used to decrease the size of the Male Thread of a 4" Type F Male Adapter from 4" down to 3".
• ● Used when increasing or reducing the pipe line size from 3" to 4".
• ● This Adapter Allows a 4" Female Camlock to connect with a 3" Female Thread.
• What it does:
• ● The camlock portion will connect to a 4" Female Coupler.
• ● The threaded portion will connect to a 3" Female NPT Thread.
• Also Known as a:
• ● Cam and Groove Type A Jump Size 4" Adapter x 3" Male NPT.
• ● Type FR Reducer 4" Male Camlock x 3" Male NPT.
• ● 4" x 3" Type FR Camlock Reducer. 
• ● 4" x 3" Reducing Type F.
• Alternate Options:
• ● A Type F with smaller threads can be made using a 4" Type A, a 4" x 3" Reducing Bushing and a 3" Close Nipple.
• ● This part can also be formed by using a 4" Type F, a 4" x 3" Bell Reducer and a 3" Close Nipple.
